Ayesha, sister to 4 elder brothers wanted to pursue medical, however due to her family’s financial crisis she was unable to do so. She then opted for Computer Science Engineering as her career. She cleared her CET exams and got scholarship. Through her college syllabus she gained knowledge in Python, however she wanted to enhance her skills in the Computer Programming Language. She came to know about Arise on Campus Course by Nasscom and EduBridge, through a placement drive in her college. She also knew few of her friends who had enrolled in this program earlier and gained knowledge and placements in good companies, hence she joined the course.
Ayesha was confident that if she regularly attended the course and actively participated during the sessions she would definitely gain knowledge and get a job by the end of the training. Through this course she was able to develop her Communication and Aptitude Skills which helped her during her interviews. Problem solving test conducted during the training also helped Ayesha crack the interview with Buzi Brains. Ayesha is quite happy that now she is able to help her family financially and also take care of her ill father.

“It was my own decision to make career in IT Field so I chose engineering. The subject that I liked the most in Engineering was Networking and Cyber Security”, said Ashfak Ahammed kp.

This course helped students to develop their professional skills. The specific skills Ashfak Ahammed kp was looking to enhance was competitive skills and aptitude skills, hence he joined the program. He really liked the way the trainer conducted the activities and role plays which helped everyone to understand the concept very easily. With all the support and the training received during the sessions Ashfak Ahammed kp was very confident that he would be able to clear the interview rounds and get selected in an MNC/ The Research Content, Communication classes and Aptitudes Classes helped to clear the technical and Hr Rounds of CTS Company and after clearing all the test Ashfak Ahammed kp was selected in the company. Asha opted for the course “Arise on Campus” by Nasscom Foundation to get knowledge on Aptitude, Communication and Technical Knowledge. She had no knowledge of Programming or Technical skills related to Electronics and Communication. Her desire was to gain technical knowledge, i.e., Computer communication and Networking problems, HTL and VSAL.
Asha had failed in many interviews and had thought that she would never clear any interviews. Through her college campus she came to know about Nasscom and EduBridge providing training and placement. She didn’t spare a moment and enrolled for the course. She knew that here with this course she will be able to gain the knowledge she lacks.
With the Arise on Campus program, Asha not only improved her communication skills but also gained knowledge on Aptitude skills it became very useful for her to clear the Interviews. Sessions on Programming helped her to prepare herself on how to talk in interviews with relation to HTML and Java Programming. She has been selected in Smart Brains Company and is hoping to have a great future with the company.

Aseeb’s family consists of 6 members, father a business man, mother a housewife, 2 younger sisters and 1 younger brother. Being the eldest Aseeb wanted to be like a role model for his siblings, hence he chose the field that interested him. Aseeb was keen on learning more about Software Application hence he chose Engineering. His favourite subject in engineering was Data Base and Machine Language (ML).
His college, i.e, Sambhram Institute of Technology had referred all the students to “Arise on Campus” by Nasscom Foundation program. Aseeb had also heard good reviews about the program, hence opted for the same. The specific skills that he was looking to improve were teaching skills and aptitude skills. He really liked the way the content was taught in the program. The Grammar session and Logical session were good and very useful. Initially Aseeb was not so confident that he would get a job but through the Communication Classes and Aptitude Classes conducted in the training helped Aseeb gain lots of knowledge which helped him get a job at Infosys. Aseeb is very grateful to Nasscom and EduBridge for providing this opportunity.

Anushree selected Computer Science Engineering as her field as she was interested in learning Python Programming Language and Machine Learning Subjects. “Arise on Campus” course by Nasscom Foundation program interested Anushree as it was providing placement assistance and training in the skills she lacked. She was confident that with little hard work she will be able to excel in this training and get a job. Anushree wanted to be trained on specific skills like Technical skill and Aptitude skills that would help her clear the interview rounds. She found the program to be good, she said that the training module, content and activities conducted during the training sessions were very interesting and that she never got bored of it. “As a child I always wanted to make a career in Medicine, but as I grew up my interest changed and I opted for Computer Science. Developing application and APPS made me purse Computer Science Engineering. In Engineering my favourite topic was on Ques that was related to Data Structure subject. “
Anusha wanted to enhance her technical skills on Programming, Java Script and Problem solving. She also wanted to learn the techniques on how to clear the Aptitude test conducted by the corporates during the interviews. Anusha didn’t expect to get a job through her college, however after Nasscom foundation placement drive, she knew that this is what will help her improve her skills and will also help her get a job in a good company. Anusha really liked the trainer’s teaching method, the trainer taught the content through role plays and activities which made it easier for everyone to understand the content very easily. “Thanks to Arise in Campus course technical and aptitude round in Tech Mahindra became very easy. Vasupradha took up Engineering as her career, as she wanted to gain knowledge on New Technologies hence she chose Electronics and Communication engineering as her field. Through her college course she learnt about VLSI Technology, Programming Language that is JAVA, C++, Python and P++
Vasupradha wanted to improve her soft skills, i.e., Communication, Coordination, Reporting Skills and Presentation skills, she also wanted to know about the interview skills that could help her get a job. She opted for “Arise on Campus” course by Nasscom Foundation. Through this course Vasupradha was able to gain more knowledge about JAVA and the advance Objection Oriented Concept and on Advance Concept on Collection and it was an in depth learning about the subject conceptually.
Vasupradha said that “in the beginning, I was not sure that I would be able to get a job as earlier I had given 2 to 3 interviews in Wipro and other companies but failed to clear the Interview rounds. But after getting training through NASSCOM Foundation Program I was able to overcome my failure I got placed in Tech Mahindra. Aptitude and Communication vocabulary classes helped me clear HR and Aptitude round. Final Round that was on Java Concept which I had learnt about through NASSCOM helped me to crack the interview.”

Youngest among the 3 daughters, Sushma always wanted to do something different. With her two elder sisters, one married and the other working in a private firm, Sushma always thought that she would first fulfil her dream to learn about VLSI Designing and complete her Engineering and then think about getting settled.
Sushma opted for the course “Arise on Campus” by Nasscom Foundation as many of her senior friends informed her that after doing this course, she will gain lot of knowledge and also get a job post training, which excited her. Through the course she learnt about HTML and Design User interface, she also learnt about JAVA which in itself is a very difficult language. Sushma also wanted to gain Domain knowledge and improve her Verbal communication and Aptitude skills. In the beginning Sushma was not very confident, she was not sure if she would be able to clear the interview rounds. But as and when the rounds continued, Sushma realized that she had learnt almost everything through the Arise on Campus course. Gowthami’s father a farmer, always tried new techniques to improve his farming and also improve the quality of the crops he grew. As the saying goes like father like daughter, Gowthami too gained interest in Electronics, Hardware parts. When young, Gowthami was a very curious kind of a kid. She always tried to open the electronic toys she received from her family and friends and tried to fix them again. Her parents knew that she would become an Engineer one day. Gowthami’s father always supported her and even with lot of financial crisis he still wanted her to continue her Engineering studies.
Through her college syllabus she learnt Mathematics, Digital Electronics and Signalling Systems. Arise on Campus course was offering training on topics like Aptitude Skills, Communication Skills, Interview skills and, Programming language like HTML, CSS, Java Script, etc. which interested Gowthami. She found Communication sessions very useful as it helped her improve interpersonal skills. Sessions on Aptitude helped her clear the Technical round of interview in the Companies. Kavya Tolety was keen on learning new technologies hence selected Computer Science. “Engineering helped me understand how to prioritize myself and other thing of life. My favourite subject was Data Base and Machine learning, in engineering” said Kavya.
Through social media she heard about “Arise on Campus” training program by Nasscom Foundation which was giving career opportunities to students. The specific skills Komal was looking to learn was Phyton Pattern and New Programming Language. The things she liked the most about “Arise on Campus” program was that the trainers were supportive and very approachable in teaching and always ready to clear the doubts. Aptitude training started from the base level which helped in clearing the interview rounds easily. The training through NASSCOM Foundation program helped Komal to get the job at Evosys.

Mamatha’s family consists of 5 members, father a carpenter, mother a housewife, 1 elder sister and 1 Young sister. Mamatha wanted to make her career in medical ranking but couldn’t get through due to age issue. Mamatha’s elder sister was doing Engineering through Sambhram Institute of Technology and she guided Mamtha to choose Electronics and Communication Engineering as her field. The subject that Mamatha liked in Engineering was Arm Context and Electrical Embedded. “I opted for “Arise on Campus” course by Nasscom Foundation as the team came to our college and told us that it was a career changing opportunity and if done well we would also be able to get a job in a good company” said Mamatha.
Mamatha wanted to improve her technical programming skills and communication skills and “Arise on Campus” program helped her improve the same. The skits and activities conducted during the training sessions helped the candidates to understand the topics easily. Through the training sessions Mamatha gained confidence and knew that she would be able to clear the interview rounds. Aptitude session and communication session conducted during the training helped her to get through the interview in the MNC.

Rajesh Gowda D V, Son of a Farmer, chose Engineering as his parents wanted him to do so, and later developed interest in the field. Rajesh wanted to improve his Technical skills, through his college he learnt about HQL and Data Base Management subject, however he was keen in learning more about these subjects. “I have opt for this course “Arise on Campus” by Nasscom Foundation to improve my programming skills and it would bridge a way for my future. I wanted to improve my Communication and Aptitude skills hence chosen to join the Nasscom Foundation Program” said Rajesh.
Through this course, Rajesh was able to develop not only his communication and aptitude skills but also his personality, he also learnt many do’s and don’ts of a corporate life, which he says will be very useful for him once he joins a company. “The Programming language that I learnt during the training, Java, C Language and HTML helped me clear the interview rounds in Tech Mahindra.
